DriveKeep Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

DriveKeep ("the App") is a fuel, charging and vehicle upkeep tracking app developed by LALWORLD. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information when you use it on iOS or Android devices.

By downloading or using DriveKeep, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

DriveKeep is designed with privacy in mind. You can use the App without creating an account. If you do not sign in, everything you enter stays on your device.

Data stored on your device. The following is stored locally on your device:

• Your vehicles (name, make, model, year, category, energy type, plate, tank or battery capacity, odometer readings)
• Fill-ups, charging sessions and upkeep entries (dates, odometer, quantities, prices, costs, station or vendor names)
• Driver names, trip timelogs and signatures, and your company name, if you use these Pro features
• Your settings, such as units, currency and theme

Optional account and backup. If you choose to sign in, we collect your email address so we can send you a one-time sign-in code. While you are signed in, the data listed above is backed up to our secure cloud database so you can restore it on a new device or use it across your devices. We do not use this data for any other purpose.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any data from other apps.

3. Advertising — Google AdMob

The free version of DriveKeep displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use the following data in order to deliver and measure these ads:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID / IDFA)
• IP address and approximate location
• App usage and interaction data, such as ad impressions and clicks
• Device type, OS version, and language

DriveKeep requests non-personalised advertising only. Ads are not targeted using your personal interests or browsing history, and the App does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Your vehicle and expense data is never shared with advertisers.

You can further limit ad personalisation at any time:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalised Ads
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID"

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

DriveKeep offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (DriveKeep Plus and DriveKeep Pro) processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment information. All billing is handled by the respective platform and is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

We use RevenueCat to verify and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an app user identifier and details of the purchase — such as the product purchased, purchase date, and renewal status — so that the App knows whether your subscription is active.

5. Notifications

DriveKeep may send notifications that are scheduled on your device. Promotional reminders are off unless you turn them on, and you can turn notifications off at any time in the App's settings or your device settings.

6. Third-Party Services

DriveKeep uses the following third-party services, which may process data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — sign-in and cloud backup (only if you sign in): https://supabase.com/privacy

• RevenueCat — subscription management: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
• Currency exchange rate services (ExchangeRate-API and Frankfurter) — when you change currency, the App requests exchange rates. Only currency codes are sent; no personal data.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — payments and distribution
• Expo (EAS) — build and distribution infrastructure: https://expo.dev/privacy

7. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

8. Data Retention

Data stored on your device is retained until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. If you have an account, your backed-up data is kept until you delete your account. Subscription records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat are retained as required for billing and tax purposes.

9. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from the App's Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your email address and all of your backed-up vehicles, entries and timelogs from our servers. You can also email us to request deletion.

10. Children's Privacy

DriveKeep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), including:

• The right to access data held about you
• The right to correct or export your data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of personalised advertising

You can view, edit and export your data within the App, and delete your account from Settings. For any other request, contact us at the address below and we will action it.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Backed-up data is transmitted over encrypted connections and is accessible only to your account. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Local data on your device is protected by your device's built-in security features.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
